Our Team

Dr. Stacy Beute is a Michigan native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Michigan State University before heading to Chicago to attend the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry. She graduated with honors in 1998, earning her Doctorate with the intention of returning to Michigan. However, she fell in love with Chicago, which she now proudly calls home.

As the owner of Wink Optical, Dr. Beute has created a boutique eye care experience that seamlessly blends medical excellence with elevated style. Known for her warm, approachable manner and clinical expertise, she has built lasting relationships with thousands of patients who have followed her care over the years. Her philosophy is simple: sophisticated eye care delivered with a highly personalized touch.

In her freetime, Dr. Beute enjoys working out, reading and exploring Chicago with her husband and their two teenage sons - continuing to fall in love with the city she proudly calls hom.

Dr. Vitta is passionate about providing exceptional, personalized eye care for both children (ages 3 and up) and adults. She is experienced in managing a wide range of eye conditions, with a special interest in myopia management for children to help protect and preserve their long-term vision.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Vitta earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated with honors. She brings a wealth of clinical experience along with a genuine dedication to helping patients see their best. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, Dr. Vitta takes the time to deliver thorough, compassionate care tailored to each patient, making her a wonderful fit for our practice and the patients we are proud to serve.

Nina is the heart of Wink Optical, serving as both our Office Manager and expert Optician. With 26 years in the optical industry, she’s mastered the art of blending style, comfort, and visual performance. Whether you’re bold, classic, trendy, or practical, she has a magical ability to find the perfect frames — which is why we lovingly call her our “frame whisperer.” Her passion for eyewear and dedication to patient care make every visit feel effortless and personalized. 

When Nina is not styling our patients, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, crafting, checking out new restaurants, and spending time with her family. 
 

Jose is Wink’s Optical Lab Manager and expert Optician, bringing over 20 years of hands-on lab experience to our practice. Known for his exceptional attention to detail, Jose is highly skilled in all aspects of lens fabrication and is a trusted authority when it comes to precision, quality, and problem-solving in the lab. In addition to his lens expertise, Jose is a talented frame technician who has completed countless complex repairs in-house. He takes great pride in his work and is deeply committed to ensuring every pair of glasses meets the highest standards before reaching our patients.

Outside of the office, Jose enjoys catching the latest movies, listening to music, and spending time with his family and dog.
