That's why we are thrilled to introduce Stellest lenses - the first (and currently only) FDA market-authorized spectacle lens in the country to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children. How do these lenses work? The Stellest lens uses HALT technology (Highly Aspheric Lenslet Target). This technology uses a pattern of 1,021 lenslets to generate a volume of light in front of the retina, helping slow the progression of myopia. Clinical data show that the Stellest lens slows down myopia progression by 71% on average over two years.

This is a game-changer for myopia management. While we also offer FDA-approved MiSight soft contact lenses and off-label methods, such as Atropine eye drops and overnight lenses (orthokeratology), to help slow the progression of myopia, it is great to have another option for children who may be candidates.
