A native of Michigan, Dr. Stacy Beute received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University with a major in biology in 1994. From there she moved to Chicago and attended the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 1998 with a Doctorate and an intention to return to Michigan thereafter.
Her love for Chicago and Chicago's love for her convinced her that the windy city was her home. Dr. Beute has made a special impact on thousands of patients who have followed her over the years because of her friendly and kind demeanor as well as her expertise in the exam room. Her specialties include hard to fit contact lenses, children's eye care and Lasik co-management with Kraff Eye Institute.

Dr. Beute's experience includes over 10 years of practice in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, as well as having owned her own private practice in the suburbs. Her passsion for her own practice in Chicago has now become a reality thanks to her love of the neighborhood and the patients she serves.

Dr. Alia Santoyo-Johnson graduated with honors from Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). She then received her Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry with clinical honors. Dr. Santoyo-Johnson is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of all patients of all ages and enjoys working with those patients experiencing dry eyes, allergies, conjunctivitis-"pink eye", diabetes, high blood pressure, and glaucoma.

She completed clinical internships at the Vision Therapy Center in Brookfield, WI. The Illinois Eye Institute-Advanced care center, Chicago Cornea Consultants, and Battle Creek VA Center. Dr. Santoyo-Johnson started working as an optometric assistant in a private practice during college, ever since then, she has fallen in love with the field of Optometry. Since graduating in 2006, she has worked in two busy practices in the northwest suburbs. At these locations, she has gained a great deal of clinical knowledge and experience. She places patients health and wellness as top priority, this shines through each and every exam.

Dr. Santoyo-Johnson takes a special interest in binocular vision disorders, (such as focusing/accommodative disorders, Oculomotor dysfunction/poor eye teaming skills, amblyopic patching programs) and advance diseases (such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and severe dry eye). Dr. Alia Santoyo-Johnson is very passionate about the field of optometry and vision therapy. She will always be a clinician at heart and will strive to place your family's health and vision as top priority Dr. Santoyo-Johnson and her husband Chad recently welcomed a baby boy in September 2010. They enjoy spending family time together and being first time parents.

Wink’s optician—Brian Benham, began his career in 1995 with an optical retailer in the west suburbs of Chicago. After a few years of professional experience and educating himself, his passion and dedication for his career was realized. That realization helped him rise quickly to management level. Managing a suburban chain optical store for a few years, he became exposed to the luxury end of eye wear by visiting different stores in Chicago. His desires soon switched gears with a new passion to work with the best-of-the-best that the optical industry had to offer. In 2000 he relocated to the city and accepted a position on Oak Street, where he quickly became familiar with the high end part of optical retail.

Since 2000, Brian enjoyed work at a few different luxury stores while striving to find his 'niche' within the industry. He spent 7 years proudly serving Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Combining his years of experience in many diverse aspects of optical retail, Brian assisted Dr. Beute in creating a concept within the optical industry which provides a family friendly and comfortable atmosphere with a broad selection of eye wear of every price range and for every type of personality
